With Jiu-Jitsu I don’t think it’s a big deal to go out there and compete right away. Guys or girls that really are wanting to compete just to get that feeling, I think going out there with Jiu-Jitsu you can go out there and compete because the worst thing that happens is you get tapped and that’s not so bad, with mma you can end up with a concision. The guys without a proper training go out there and you loss with mma a win or loss is so much more important for the future if you’re an inspiring UFC fighter and your eventual goal is to fight you need to win. Losses even in amateur level can hold you back. Just go out there losing just to get the experience in a Jiu-Jitsu tournament has no reprocusion. Those way you can get the experience learn how to compete but still fighting develop skills.
