Do I need to be in Shape to Start Training Martial Arts?

No! Absolutely not. When you come into my school, you do not need to be shape in amazing shape, it’s helpful but not required. I have designed a beginner program so that when you start training at my gym we will work with whatever fitness level that you are currently at. You just need to come in the shape that you are in currently. If you wait come in and another year goes by or maybe not a year but a month. The best thing to do is not wait till you are in shape you just need to literary let’s start now. I will help you to get in shape in my beginner class. That way you can start training immediately. This is a huge benefit for you, you’re not wasting time, you get in shape while learning a new skill. You might as well get in shape as you are learning the skills that you wish to gain from your new sport you have chosen whether it is BJJ MMA or Muay Thai. As you get in better shape, and your skills are gonna to be improving that way everything is gonna come together naturally. So definitely do not wait to start training I really can’t emphise that enough. Starts today not next week, run don’t walk to your phone and call right now to set up your intro class. You need to start training immediately; you need a sense of urgency! You are never going to accomplish your goals unless you start training now. The time isn’t next year, the time isn’t 10 years from now people, don’t wait until you have time, make time now. Life never gets an easier if it is important to you start now.

If you have the desire to learn martial arts whether it’s MMA, Jiu Jiutsu, Muay Thai whatever that martial arts is you need to jump in it now.

You don’t want to wait until you are 80 years old and say to yourself I wish I would have done whatever is it that you wish you would have done. Take the time now to develop who you want to become!!
